Target discrimination
« on: August 04, 2015, 09:11:06 AM »
Tam, a firearms enthusiast of some renown in the gun bloggosphere, recently took a handgun format shoot house course that produced some interesting blog entries.  This one is reference target discrimination and decision making while using firearms.  It is a great read.  It also references and links a lengthy article over on the Mountain Guerilla blog.  It is also a worthy read, though long.  The two second summary is that even those that spend real time training gun handling and marksmanship, could stand to deliberately train decision making and how to think while in the middle of a self-defense situation.
