Thanks Chad.  Does is zap the FM band too?  FM's generally a lot more resistant to interference, but my PSW manages to obliterate it.

Just tested: no effect on the FM band, the radio maintained a 12 on the reception meter.

Ill test the BESTEK 300 watt later today.

With the oscillator and transformers ,along with connected wires to the inverter acting as antennas...few inverters are neutral to radio emissions.
But they are still useful .Just acknowledge the limitations and move ahead.

Ok..tested the bestek, not friendly to am at all, blows it right off the air, on fm it goes from a clean signal to noticeable interference but still listenable.
