Um. . .the following may or may not be applicable, here.

There was another knifemaker who made a similar style "knife."  Many of you know that I teach and train at bladed weapon fighting style.  One of our cop friends brought one of these other, similar "knives" to class for "show and tell."

According to him, there are many jurisdictions who consider this other "knife" to fall with in the definition of a "knuckle duster" or "brass knuckles."

You may wish to check your local laws before getting caught with this.  I know that some places will take issue with the 7 3/4" blade, alone, not to mention the shape of the tool.

I won't see the officer-in-question until Saturday, but I'll try to find out the name of the other weapon.

Just givin' a heads-up.

Yea, I'll pass.  Thanks for the video, it made it easier to see that this blade is not for me.

Yeah, I've watched a few vids of this knife, seen a similar one and a sort-of similar one (the ATAX) and just can't get anything more than the initial "Hey, that's neat!" impulse-buy desire.

It seems to do a lot of things not very well and offers almost no real advantage over a standard fixed-blade knife.

But, it looks cool

I have this and I like it, although you do have be VERY careful using it. It is EXTREMELY sharp and takes some getting used to. It's also nice having an axe in the same space as a knife. I have another, "hand axe" type thing in my wallet but this is better and wouldn't fit my wallet.
