Title: Anyone been out turkey hunting yet?
Post by: IowaFreak on April 19, 2010, 06:48:00 PM
Turkey season has gotten under way around here, I'm taking my boy into Missouri this weekend.

This will be our first time out this season, I was told youth season was pretty quite, and the birds had been going tight lipped right after they came off the roost.

Has anyone had any luck yet?

Daughter of a co-worker got 2 jakes with one shot on Sunday morning.

We openned in Kentucky last weekend.  It was pretty quiet where I am, but my neighbor had a great day.  It was cold Sunday though and the birds just didn't come down until late.

I'm officially eat up with it - so I'm sure I'll have more to say!
