Title: *45 Auto safety warning*
Post by: SaltyHobbit on May 12, 2011, 08:38:54 AM
Read a notice at Waly world today about Federal and American Eagle rounds. The warning stated not to use rounds from the lots 38X628 through 38X765    and 38T401 through 38T414.

I can not remember the exact reasoning or what to do. I would strongly recommend looking it up, but for now I have to go pick up two new purchases I made.

I hope this helps some people.

The cartidges in that production run have an unsafe level of charge in them, and have the potential of over pressures.  Action failures, however unlikely, are a possibility.

Federal will replace the "defective" ammunition
