Title: Early Doe Report, Michigan
Post by: DieselMcStacked on September 26, 2012, 09:55:01 AM
Got out this past weekend for the early anterless season. Family hunting camp up near Lincoln. Four of us hunted Saturday and two Sunday. Between us, we saw around 40 deer. Many does with fawns, several twins and one set of triplets. We harvested four deer for the freezer. I'm really excited about the number of deer moving through the woods. Archery and firearm season should be a blast this year.

Did anyone else get out? What did you see?

I'm heading up to Barton City this weekend, pretty close to Lincoln. My roommate is up there right now and has seen a ton of deer, tracks, and rubs, but hasn't been able to get a shot yet. Fingers and toes crossed, I got backstrap fever!!

Seriously I can't stop listening to Fred Bear... I need to get out there!!
