Title: Need help sourcing some parts for a project
Post by: beakerello on March 26, 2013, 11:42:31 AM
I'm wanting to build a rotary tumbler to tumble my brass. I'm needing 4 pillow block bearings sized for 3/4" rod. I've tried sourcing these locally, but @ $20 a pop, they are more than I am willing to spend. Any suggestions? I'll post pics and a materials list when I finished.

Amazon has some imports for just over $12 and shipping is free if your total order amount is at least $25.

I'm not sure if these are what you're looking for, but some of the cheaper options are very reasonably priced.

3/4 shaft and bearings sounds like way overkill.  You probably don't need a lot of torque or will have a hugely offset load. Bushings would probably be fine.
