Title: Transcribing tool
Post by: Hootie on October 03, 2013, 10:56:16 AM
My favorite transcribe app (Transcribe (https://transcribe.wreally.com/)) just went "Paid only"

Anyone got other free recommendations that they have used?

Finally...

someone made a free "Human Transcribing" tool to replace "Transcribe". Well that makes things easier...

works in Google Chrome

Interesting tool Hootie.
Have been looking for a good tool for some mpeg-4 audio I want to convert to text in a Windows environment. Any tool tips? Ones I've looked at don't work.

If it's your favorite tool, and it went paid, wouldn't you want to support it's growth and development buy buying it? Or is it unreasonably expensive? Are there better alternatives or just free ones?

Just found http://www.zamzar.com
Will give a try and support if it works well.
Scratch that one. Has no way to convert to text.

There is this. Sure seems like a roundabout way of doing it. Doesn't work for me.
