Title: An interesting video about wildlife choosing GMO or Non corn
Post by: Polar Bear on July 28, 2014, 08:38:25 PM
Kenneth Kramm decided to try an experiment and see if squirrels, and other wildlife, prefer non-GMO corn over GMO corn.  It's a simple set up he has, but it's interesting.

I'd rather have non-GMO myself.

He is saying one thing, but the video to me looks like they like the GMO more...

I would agree on animals preferring non-gmo crops. If you have ever tried to grow an older variety of corn and had your crop ravaged while your neighbors 100's of acres of conventional crop is seemingly untouched, you can see it for yourself. I had a quarter acre of Reid's field corn decimated last year and the critters also tried to get my heirloom popcorn as well. You would think they would stay on my neighbors crop land with better cover, they usually stay off this area of my place until I plant something they think is tasty.
