Title: Email for business?
Post by: Kate108 on May 26, 2016, 01:44:56 PM
Hello friends,

Wanted to see what people are using for reliable email for business.  We use Hostgator for our hosting, but their email is not reliable.  What a shock.  We kept having trouble (emails that we sent did not get received by customer, etc) and finally a customer service rep recommended that we use a gmail account!  He said that it was the most reliable, and that we could purchase an email address using the gmail system that has our business domain as part of the email.

So we are looking for an email service that is reliable.  Don't really like gmail.

Thanks!

Kate

I don't like gmail either.  I highly recommend fastmail.com, for personal or business use.  I have found their reliability to be excellent.

They give a great deal of information even about very small issues.  See here for an example:
http://www.fastmailstatus.com/

And here's some general information about their reliability:

I'm happy to answer any other questions you might have.

I use one and one for my domains and email. Been using them for close to 15 years.
Cheep.
