Title: grid or battery powered oscilating multi-tool
Post by: Greekman on February 11, 2017, 11:06:28 AM
i am gone buy one, cos the cost of breaking instead or removing and replacing with non-matching tiles in the bathroom, is much bigger.

question is..battery powered (12V) or grid powered?
reference (http://www.dewalt.com/en-us/products/power-tools/oscillating-tools)

The battery powered will cover most household chores, but I will be needing it to sand to bare wood 75 square feet of windows shutters in a house with no power (DAMN!). I can take my time (over a few days) and maybe I will have a second battery.

What will I be missing by going the battery way? especially regarding power (to cut tiles etc)
