Title: 6.5 Creedmore. Anyone use or reload for this round?
Post by: TheRetiredRancher on February 27, 2017, 10:47:12 AM
I am looking for a low recoiling very accurate long range rifle. It will be used mainly for target and occasional preditor hunting. I was originally going to go with .243 win but the more I read about the 6.5 the more intriguing it is. I love to reload and work up accurate loads for a new rifle but need to limit recoil a little bit now. I would just like anyone with actual experience with the 6.5 explain what they like about it. What they use it for and compare it to other rounds of similar power.

The 6.5 Creedmore has quite a following among the target crowd . The Marines are now using the 6.5X47 in a sniper rifle. I love my 260 Rem and load it with MR 3100. I doubt it's any harder to load.
