Title: moths on apple trees ?
Post by: surfivor on June 20, 2017, 04:02:35 PM

I have some small apple trees. I think some moths have been chewing on the leaves. In some areas of my town the gypsy moths seem very bad. One place along the bike trail there are giant trees with hardly any leaves.

what are some options for my apple trees ? They have alot of growing to do still to be anything significant. The peach trees and peach trees seedlings seem unaffected

Get fake red apples, smear them with Vaseline and hang in your trees.
If tent catepillers are on it, in an active tent, start your burn barrel,  sacrifice the branch and drop it i t
 the flames.
