Filled up today. $3.39 per Gal. I am so glad I don't have to commute. Shop is a rock's through from the house. Although I do expect shipping prices for my parts to go up. Downside is the Wife just finished her Bachelors and will probably be back in the Rat race before long. As much as I enjoy living in our extremely rural location, high fuel prices are definitly a drawback. Still wouldn't give up the peace of mind for the conveinance. I do think that if we get through another couple years without a societal implosion that the CNG alternative is really going to take off and I as well as a lot of others, will be driving something that will run on it. Just saw today that they are putting in another CNG station in the Tulsa area and many CNG vehicles also have LP capability. We use propane for cooking and our Infrareds heaters plus our furnace which is only for emergency heat and already have two 500 gal. tanks on the property. I also already have a wet line that I can fill portable tanks with. I probably should have already made the switch.
