Droid Food Storage Inventory App
« on: June 04, 2010, 08:17:41 PM »
I was wondering if anyone had heard of an app that would let you scan barcodes of food with your Droid and use it to create an inventory of your pantry. I thought I remember seeing one mentioned here somewhere but I can't find it.

The only thing I remember is gigajack talking about it.

Here's his blog post about it. Hope this helps.:

What would be the iphone equivalent of Inventory Droid?  Is there anything with the same functionality?

BTT.  Anyone know of an equivalent iPhone app?  I have been browsing the app store but nothing stands out.

I have seen 2 of them on the droid market — one geared toward home inventory for insurance and the other for food. I tried them out quickly and found them cumbersome and not very good UI design-wise.

I am going to use google docs spreadsheets for things like this unless I find an app that works better.
