Everyone's FIT should have come down due to the withholding allowance going up from 73.08 to 75$ per week. Everyone that at least claims themselves on the W4.

Not everyone, as the OP pointed out, medical flex spending max is cut and taxes went up in the highest brackets. Additionally, new taxes on investment income are hitting.

State of Alaska has opted out of Social Security for its own employees. It was replaced with a state-run program. My deduction for that stayed the same.

Just for state employees? or employees in the state?
