We need to start a thread and become study partners.

What better than to not only take this pdc but also that we as a community can discuss and work through the course together?

I'm in as well.  WooHoo!

With the buzz around here and on Geoff's website, I have no doubt they got 800 to sign up within the first few hours.

I'm wondering if any of the folks who've signed up today or yesterday can mention their invoice number.  This discussion has me wondering how many people they're actually running through this year.

There is easily over a thousand people already signed up.  Or it so it seems.

I was 3200ish on 03/31/14, not sure that it means much, I can reset an invoice number every hour or start it at 1000 just to feel comfortable.

This occurred to me just a bit ago:
This whole course is designed using the Permaculture model.  A lot of effort last year setting up the Mainframe works with the initial videos, the first QA sessions, website design, etc.  This year the majority of the work is already done, plus they have last year's veterans "returning the surplus" by assisting (I assume) without cost to the designer, there will be fewer questions to answer, a few minor tweaks to the website, etc.  In a couple years there will be almost nothing that needs to be added to the system to keep it functioning except the harvest and eval of site designs for certification of the attendees.  Brilliant design, I say!

You'd think it was a business designed by a permaculture designer.

As a co-worker of mine would say, "I know... right?"

Anyway, I've heard Jack talk about Permaculture being good for more than just forest/food systems, but this was the first time I really saw that design in something else.  Sometimes I'm a bit slow that way.
