What's up with all the rewind episodes recently?

Seems like now that Jack has created the "Rewind" it's getting used a bit much.  In my VLC feed there are 10 rewind shows and 13 new shows available to stream currently.

The man needs time off, and he explained why he was taking off every time.

I have no problem with the rewinds.

I've found the ones from the last week to be fantastic.  Really enjoyed it.

I haven't listened to a show in over a year, but I used to be an avid listener. I'm honestly surprised he didn't do this sooner. The man went like crazy and didn't take a ton of time off. I see the e-mail updates and I'm in the workshop group emails. He's incredibly busy around his homestead and I would imagine the rewind episodes are helping out his work-life-homestead balance.

Jack's back in good form this week, fully up to his rant-in-the-Jetta days.

I have always enjoyed rewinds.  Its bad when you remember the first time they were published just like it was yesterday.

I still pull out the Jetta days episodes now and again.  The format was much more digestible for me (40 or so minutes).  I also like the much shorter prelude to the main topic.  I understand that many people like the various recurring segments (history, periodic plant stuff, etc. along with the house cleaning keeping), it just isn't for me.  I suppose I should actually go look, maybe the format has shifted again.

The old episodes of ranting about getting out of debt, putting up some food, getting a garden going and getting some constructive survival hobbies (fishing, etc) punctuated by road rage were awesome.

I do miss the passion of the old ranty days.  Face it, misery loves company, and the rants made my commute a little less unbearable.
