Still waiting for mine.  We got an email. saying it was sent on the 27th.
I know we are in Canada but it shouldn't take this long.

The coins being shipped out now are the ones that were part of the first order. If you just ordered then you are part of the second order and Sister Wolf hasnt received them yet. Once she gets them in then they will ship out.

I would like to see a TSP coin with a blank back. Having a place for my local jeweler to personalize it for me would be awsome.

Thank you, ncjeeper.  Yeah, it says (all over the website where you ordered your coin, as well as here in this thread) that the challenge coins are a pre-order.

And just so it's clear, your post wasn't deleted for rudeness, or anything like that, spamity.  You were notified of why it was deleted, and unless you planned to make the same mistake again, you had no reason to be hesitant to post in this thread.

The Infidel - that's a fantastic idea!  I'll see if it's possible to order several with blank backs next time, so that you can have your jeweler put whatever you want on them.  :)

I was just planing on Stamping my initials (above the ant) and the date (below the ant) into the back of mine when it gets here.  But thats not a bad idea.  I have an engraving tool in my Dremel that works well (as long as  spend some practice time with it  ;)).  If you do get some with blank backs I may be interested in a couple more.  I could personalize them and pass them out as gifts.

Great idea Infidel.

Docwatmo, I'm just a little annoyed with myself that I didn't think of it first!  :D

It really is a great idea.  I'm hoping it's a possibility (why shouldn't it be, right?), and I'll email the coin guy and ask him right now.

Just emailed our coin guy, and he says that the blank backs are doable, but the price is the same for us (and thus, the same for y'all).  Next time we get close to running out, I'll order a bunch with blank backs and see how they do in the store.  ;)

Ah thanks ncjeeper and sister wolf for clearing that up. I thought the first order had already been completed but yall are still catching up I see. I wouldnt exactly call my other post a mistake because its not my fault. I just casually mentioned what I noticed. I hope yall fixed that.

How true, here is a picture of the TSP coin with a couple of silver rounds (from Tea Party Silver of course) and other challenge coins I have gotten over the years.  The TSP coin "is jus' a lil' bigger"

Challenge Coins are sold out, but I've JUST ordered a new batch, so you can place your pre-order right now if you want another one.

No, it's not a precious metal coin.  But yeah, it is really expensive to have them made.  The issue is more the die (dye?) than the per coin price, though.  As for the Silver Coins, we can have those done too.  But the price would be a lot closer to $30 a piece.

I would buy several, if you minted silver coins. Not really interested in bronze, but I can more easily justify buying some if they had value if/when the economy really collapses.
