Grains available in Bulk in North GA.
« on: November 03, 2009, 08:53:41 PM »
I ordered online and picked up my order of bulk grains in North Georgia on Monday from a company called Hometown Harvest located in Kennesaw, GA.  (Just above ATL off I75).  They are only open for retail pickup orders from 4-7pm, so if you order you can schedule a conveinent pick up time.  I spoke with Tim.

I purchased buckets of:

Quinoa (for myself and my son as we LOVE this stuff.  I have gluten issues so this is a Gluten free grain and also has some good protein too!)
Red Winter Wheat (for my son who can eat wheat with no issues)
Hulled Buckwheat (I have gluten issues so this is for myself)

They also have Gamma Lids at a decent price too.

I think he meant Homegrown Harvest, not Hometown Harvest, which is probably what gave you trouble Cohutt. Try this link http://www.homegrownharvest.com/

Yep I did.  Haven't had a chance to get to the desktop to redo my typo in the name.  I wasn't sure about posting the link with me being all new and such...some folks see that as people coming into a forum and plugging themselves or friends who have businesses.  Yes, it's www.homegrownharvest.com

on the contrary; breadbeckers is the only other place i have heard of in the area, and  is too inconvenient to i-75.  I've wondered if there was a place close enough to stop in when I come into Atlanta.

+1 thankyou
