Ball Caps
« on: November 05, 2009, 05:03:22 PM »
Please answer the following questions:

What color do you want?
What do you want on the cap?
How many do you want?

We don't expect you to jump up and purchase them immediately after we get them (we understand finances, oh believe me, we do).  But just a general ballpark figure of "I think I'll want 2" or "maybe 3" or "just 1" would help us get an idea of how many to order right off the bat.

Okay.  That was too many baseball references in one post.  Going to get some coffee now.  ;D

Sister Wolf;
I may have a possible solution, and its economically beneficial all the way around.  Get those khaki Americap contrator caps from tactical response gear(http://www.tacticalresponsegear.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=53_54&products_id=4071 ), and velcro some of the TSP patches.
That would support Tactical Response Gear, and supports TSP(podcast and forum)
Everybody's happy!  :D

I'm such a modest genius ;D ::)

"what do you want on the cap?"
An ant of course! :D
Depending on price, I would be in for at least two.
Seriously, though, either an ant or val or the words or the website would be fine with me. Maybe val or an ant on the front and the website in smaller print across the back.

Forgot what color. As I said on the shirts, black is not a good color for me, but I do know black is a good color for hats since it does not show dirt as fast. Black does make my head hotter in the summer, though. I do agree that khaki would be a good color.
Sorry, that was a bit ramble-y.

I would probably want just one.

I could see buying either a khaki or black one.

I would want the Val with the motto.

BT - those caps are rad, but they'd raise the hat price up QUITE a lot.  I'll talk to James.  I wonder if he has any other hats....

Skull caps with ants printed on them. Easy to fold up and store in your EDC or BOB.

Khaki or black with the logo, website and an ant :)

I'd buy one, maybe two more if my boys liked it, too.

The skull cap is a good idea too for BOB's, etc.... hint, hint

Ick, no way.  We want to make sure you have QUALITY products.  Stuff from cafepress starts peeling off after the first wash.  Can you imagine the feedback?  Yikes!

Good point!
Well, I think I have another idea that might help.  But you must decide what pattern you want.  BTW, I own some of their boonie hats.  Very good quality! ;)

I'd like to see a brown cap with just an image of an ant on the front.  It would get people asking about what it was.

What about khaki (light tan) with a black embroidered ant?

I like that idea. It would make the ant stand out a lot better.

Sister Wolf,

Is it possible just to have a patch that can be sewn onto a Cap. I have a problems finding Caps that fit me. I have a rather big head, 8+ and have only found Caps at one local store that I can wear. A patch would let others also choose their own Cap. I have a few with patches sew on by a boot maker and would love to have an 'ANT' patch on two or three. I might buy 5 or 6 patches for Caps if they become available.... 8)

Absolutely will do.

The TSP patch is available in our store already (for pre-order), but I will for sure make ant patches.

I would be in the market for 1-2 hats. If visors ever become a consideration I would definitely buy those. It's a chick thing I guess  :)

I love the idea of an "ant" ballcap.  I would order one.  I love to support the show and i talk it up a lot, when I am in the right audience.  But often
I don't want to have "SURVIVALIST" written on my back.  A simple ant ROCKS!.

I use the term "PREPPER"

I'm a prepper, he's a prepper, she's a prepper,,
We're all preppers!!
Wouldn't you like to be a prepper too??? :o

(Yes!!  I actually did it!  And I feel better for it! ;D ::) )

That would be perfect for grey men like me who can't walk around with the word "survival" on them.

Plus khaki goes with everything.

They will be $20 a piece, 100% cotton, embroidered, and adjustable.

And this is what they will look like:

Still want them?  If you do, I'll put the order in for them on Friday.  And I can put them in the store (for pre-order) now.
