Ok! I'll be the firstn to bite.
My thought is  SAKs(Swiss Army Knives) and or MTs(Multitools) with the TSP logo(which ever one you decide)

My only question is which one??

 My argument for the SAKs:
As with the SAKs, Wenger's has their new Ranger-one handed lockblade series(
http://www.wenger.net.au/wengerpro.asp?cid=2&scid=30  http://www.wenger.net.au/wengerpro.asp?cid=2&scid=35 ).  And ironically, this new series looks more "general public friendly" than most of the MTs on the market.

My argument for the multitool:
Though their asthetics doesn't make MTs "general public friendly".  MTs can just about repair everything short of a broken heart.

How about a good quality bolo machete in carbon steel with a thick blade and full tang?  That's on my wish list right now...

LMAO @ BT - actually, I've used a (sterilized) multitool in bypass surgeries on several dogs.  I beg to differ that they cannot be used to mend a broken heart.

:D

Edit to add - this was not in a veterinary clinic - it was in a lab, where we were testing stints.

How about M&Ms in TSP colors?

I like that concept.  But it won't be useful to any of us with diabetes :'(

Mash, the colors could be brown for us ants and green for the grasshoppers. That way we know which color to eat first.

I think sticking to prepping type products would be best.  Maybe a water bottle with a logo.  You could make up mini survival kits in the bottles, and sell them empty or full.

When I was a teenager, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, eating green M&Ms made you horny!!

So unless TSP has a secret breeding program in the works, hold off on adding green M&Ms into your preps! ::)

Awwwwww....come on....M&Ms are totally survival products!  ;D Can't find a really good trail mix without them!  :D Also, in case you haven't noticed I have a penchant for not being serious when I can help it. Besides, I can see them now...teal, black, and maybe brown? Each with a white Val logo on it instead of the M. Yeah...there you go!  :D Or! Or we could have alternating ant and logos on the M&Ms! I'm just saying....someone would eat them....

What is funny is when I was a kid there was a product called Grasshoppers. Essentially they were Oreos with green mint creme. They were sooooooo good. Maybe we could make those with logos on them.

I'm hungry.   :)

BT,
*snort* hee hee. I had not heard that either. Us single folks would then be in trouble! Best avoid green!  ::)

ColdHaven, isn't there some kind of drink called a grasshopper? Maybe we could start our own liquor store......Although I am partial to M's. M&M is my cb handle and my initials, and they are good chocolately goodness, can't go wrong there.

*getting serious here*
I do like the keychain idea.

okay, I went to the m&m site and you can't print a logo on the teal, brown or black. It has to be the lighter colors. Like red, green, blue, silver and white. We can also upload a picture. I am going to run it all through and see what some prices would be.... I'll get back to y'all.

Okay, wow, they are pretty pricey. And a lot of minimum orders. You can buy in bulk, but then they would have to be repackaged, so I am not sure it would really be a savings. Too bad.

Oh well. Thanks for doing the research, though! Yeah, they are probably not wanting you to make a profit on it and that is why its like that. Its more like for special occasions, ect.

Hey Sis, how about one of those head gear things you wore at Dirttime09. I've seen plenty of comments about them and folks seem to like the idea of them. I would look totally stupid in one, but then I don't wear hats cuz I just don't look good in a hat. I do visors, which by the way, could be an idea too.

Do what I do.  Add to it walnuts, stick pretzels, &  shredded mini wheats with extra bran :P

I'd like to see some keychain multitools with a TSP logo on them.  It can spread the word, add to our every day carry, and be useful.

I like the key chain fire starter idea.  I was thinking about a bandanna with some useful outdoor/survival  info in it I have seen similar ones it could be a TSP themed version.

I don't know if this would help, but I happen to also be a member of the Jerzee Devilz(a bunch of us that enjoy custom knives, wilderness skills, and good food & drink).  We have a section known as "Devilz Gear(we make our own)"- http://www.jerzeedevil.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=48

Hopefully, this might help in figuring out what products you may consider! ;)

I too would like to see a TSP branded keychain firestarter of some sort .  I would love to be able to give them as gifts for both the utility and the guerrilla marketing potential.

how about mutli-level checklists. Its not all gucci, but one checklist for the newbie, another for the BOL, the BOV, the BOB and so on. People can add/delete items, personalize it and so on. There are plenty of threads here about each topic, but a one-stop shop for the authentic TSP checklist items would probably be useful - could make it a MSB-free and nominal charge to download the form for all others.
