Small game knife

Can anyone recommend a good small game knife?  I have a bunch that are ideal for larger game, but looking for a do it all small game knife.

I don't have a specific brand in mind but you might try a bird & trout type knife for smaller game.

Something like this is what I'm thinking.  It has a smaller blade, & the loop makes it handy to keep at hand when you might not need the blade, like when you're skinning an animal with your hands. 

I haven't used the cold steel version specifically but I have used a similarly designed knife & found it quite handy.

I use a buck trapper pocket knife good knife..

I use a 5" boning knife.  It works for fish, pheasant, and even breaking down a buck.  You can get a ggod one, like a dexter or forschner for about 20 bucks too!

Not much cool factor, but I think a Victorinox stainless steel paring knife is a dandy small game knife. Light, sharp, cheap and useful.  If you want to spend more money, Bob Dozier makes some very nice patterns perfect for small game.

I highly reccommend Gerber.  I have a small folding knife from them that I have used on multiple animals, and the blade is still sharp.  It's just a small folding pocket knife, and it has a pocket clip on it.  It is a little pricey, but I've had it for 3 or 4 years and the knife is the perfect size.  Folded it's about 3.5 inches unfolded, it's just under 6".

Go to www.agrussell.com/ and look at their Blackie Collin's designed Bird and Trout knives. They also have a Hunter Scalpel for $19.95 that comes with a fiberglass reinforced neck sheath. I have one of their small game knives that comes with a leather pocket sheath.  It also runs about $19.95 and really holds an edge.  It is perfect for squirrels and is a non-folder so it is easy to keep clean.
