I can vouch for the existence of "pickles-in-a-pouch."   I've seen them in convenience stores and delis.  Van Holten's has pickles-in-a-pouch, as does Vlasic.  Here are there links to confirm it for Doubting Dev:

They're still....unnatural.

I like having control over my own PR.

Actually, you don't. ;)

That's Picklicious!

Welcome to Sister Wolf's nightmare.

There is one small problem with pickles.  They have almost zero calories.  Not exactly the best survival food.

Now pickled peanut butter almond surprise might be a better option  ;D

They're a great source of electrolytes.

Hook one up to an appropriately sized AC power supply with a nail in each end and you get a sodium vapor lamp!

All pickles are "unnatural" in the sense of being human-made.  It's not like the Vlasic stork brings pickles or you find sauerkraut hidden in a cabbage patch with a birth certificate.

I thought the Mt. Olive Pickles Web Site would be like a dream-land for a pickle-lover like Sis Wolf.  I guess you mods and admins have given her a bad taste in the mouth for pickles.

Having worked in food service, I can vouch that these exist...Though once you encounter them, you'll wish you could forget them.

Well, pickles and ice cream are commonly craved by women who are prega-nanated, so, in a SHTF/TEOTWAWKI situation, they could be a good barometer that mankind is rising from the ashes and making a comeback again.

Orionblade,

Capital idea!  The salt of the brine does make the water in the pickle a better conductor.

 :)

And the vapors of electrified, boiling vinegar would also repel would-be raiders of one's compound too!

Sis, you need a "proper" pimp name. Go here and type in your name

http://www.playerappreciate.com/pimphandle.asp

I typed in Goat and Dog

It came back with;

Sticky Fingers Dog Flow

and

Ghetto Fabulous Dog Wicked

Which one should I use?

Goatdog -

Ghetto Fabulous Dog Wicked!

definitely, no contest, hands down.

(mine came out "Funk Master Mash Flash" by the way)

Sister Wolf,

One more question and I'll shut up (...for now anyway.  ;D)

On the bottom of every page on the TSP Forum, I see the following:

Quote
Duru Theme: Originally Created By Fth*, but made to actually FUNCTION by Sister Wolf

Is Fth the Eddie Willers to your Dagny Taggart?   ;)  Or is there an underlying work-related tension here that is best left un-remembered?  :o

LOL!  No, I don't know Fth.  But I didn't want to steal credit for his/her theme.  But it's not really the same theme that it was when it started.  ;)

Hey SIS!... (slightly off topic) is that avatar - you as a 'beer wench' ... at the R'-Faire... ? working the Ale Stands I'll betcha...  ;D

Ok, my son and daughter-in-law met at the R'-Faire... she was one of the 'wenches and he was the cashier/body-guard/bouncer (although he was a sweet - but very big male figure that most didn't want to attempt stuff...). They worked at Pappy's Ale stand mostly... Just sayin'...

Ok - now back to the regularly scheduled - 'Sis in lime green... looking for a pimpish name' -  commentary... although 'The Beer Wench' - isn't bad ::)

Indy, it is at the ren faire (that particular pic is at southern faire back when we had it at the lake).  I was never a beer wench (or any other sort of boothy).  I was a guildy, but would rather not divulge which.  ;)

I have since sold that dress which sucks.  I loved it, and miss it terribly.  It was double sided (dark blue on one side, and an olive green on the other side).  Maybe someday I'll make another one.

Can you make it tactical?

And put an ant on it?

The egg balancing thing is from the pecularities thread.  I see no merit in balancing eggs in a carton.  Most TSP members say I'm wrong and that egg balancing is necessary to proper egg carton maneuvering.  And again, it escalated to titles.  :D

Holy Crap! I thought I was the only person out there who felt a strong desire to have my eggs balanced before returning the carton to the fridge.  I feel like so much less of a freak! :)

Sister Wolf,

So thou art involved with one of the sundry and various Renaissance FreakNic's scattered around yon country?  'Od's bodkins!  Thou art truly The Pimp!

If I am ever in that vicinity, I shalt vouchsafe to request a 40-ounce mead from thine establishment!

I just cut my cardboard cartons down to half size when I bring them in the house - they fit better stacked vertically than with a full dozen laid out in two rows, since I have a mini fridge inside.

I also do this with my mega flats of eggs after I use the first flat, I cut the other two in half and stack them vertically. Works out pretty well in the garage fridge.

wewt.

Also, might I suggest "RennasANTS"
