Total Portfolio Asset Allocation
« on: January 07, 2010, 05:29:51 PM »
There are dozens of online tools that help you figure out asset allocation based on age and risk factor.  Problem is we all own mutual funds that have all types of stocks and bonds in them but we do not know what they are and how they effect our total portfolio allocation.

I had found a tool that would do this a while back - enter in all stock and fund symbols and it would spit out the total allocation.

Problem is I can not find this tool again!!!!!   Anyone ever see anything like this?  I have googled everything I can think of.

Morningstar has one called "X-ray".  They prompt you to sign up for stuff, but I think you can keep using it for free as long as you are willing to type all the tickers in every time.
