SURVIVAL FRAMEWORKS; NATURE, STRUGGLE, AND THE CIVILIZED MAN

I am a Martial Artist and a Survivor.

I wanted to share with the folks on the forum the prose that sparked my interests in further developing my survival outlooks and lifestyle.

My old martial arts instructor gave me a book to read and nothing has been the same ever since. The book’s title is THE WAY AND THE POWER, by Frederick J. Lovret.

In particular, I wanted to share some of the excerpts of enlightening prose from this book that has offered to me a spark of wisdom and approach.

The words below are both sobering and enlightening.

My survival framework has never since been impacted as strongly than by the words that follow…

NATURE, STRUGGLE (AND SURVIVAL)

“The essence of life is struggle and its goal is domination. There are higher goals and deeper meanings, but they exist only within the mind of man. The reality of life is war.”

Excerpt from the book – THE WAY AND THE POWER, Fredrick J. Lovret
