Warm Glow
« on: September 23, 2008, 09:45:35 AM »
I was out in the woods this morning, walking my dog listening to the pod cast, perfect!  Having got stuck into the forum with gusto once it was announced, i was listening to jack talking about our group.  I really felt a sense of community, a warm glow, like coming home after a tour over sea's or a long trip.  Probably like many of you I didn't feel at home on many of the traditional survivalist sites but felt that sense of need to speak to like minded people.  I now feel i have found that home and want to thank everyone for making it happen and keeping it going. i feel an immense amount of positive energy from everyone, long may it last.

Glad I found this site. Hard to find a survival site around the internet that doesn't involve zombies. (Don't tell the zombie squad I said that) :P

I actually miss not listening to Jack in my car on weekends. I'll have to go back and re-listen to old shows to get my 'Jack Fix'...

I laughed when I read this because I do the same. Sad but true.  I have introduced a few mates and my eldest son to the podcast so at least i get to speak about some of the topics with them, which gives me a mini fix until Monday.

 ;D
