My off-grid survival cabin
« on: March 20, 2010, 11:54:06 AM »
I am a long time off-grid homesteader and live in a solar and wind powered cabin I designed and built for under $2000.

I use propane, drilled my own well, harvest rain and gray water, composting toilet, garden, hunt and fish.

I am always happy to answer questions and share ideas with anyone wanting to learn about building survival cabins or going off-grid.

I have videos of my cabin set up on youtube:

Can you infect my wife with that attitude?  I showed that to her and she made a face and said it was nice knowing me.

Glad you found your way here. I'm the fellow that posted questions about your wind generator. Great house. I'm curious as to what state you live in, but post it only if you wish to...no pressure, lol
