Hey Guys,

Just came across this thread - it's awesome. It's good to see some people into survival fitness. I'm a personal trainer by trade but it would be very rare that you would catch me actually working out in the gym where I train. The vast majority of my own training is outdoors and is what I to think of as survival fitness, being that it is actually functional fitness because I actually function it, not just use that term as a label. What I try and do is kind of like a mixture of Erwan La Corre's Movnat, Zombie Fit, Parkour and Cross Fit with a bit of chasing the dog thrown in for good measure. And any manual labour I can get my hands on. Sport (BBall) is pretty important too.
Anyway just excited to see people into what I consider a core value of preparation, your own body. So now the workouts.
SEP 25
grab 1X mattock or pick and cultivate 25m2 of backyard (predominantly clay soil). Lay down Gypsum and compost. Turn over soil again. Lay top soil.

SEP 26
walk 25m2 of pre grown lawn (cut into 1X.6m rolls) from trailer out the front, around the house to the back yard and lay.

SEP 27
Head out into the bush:
Crawl along uprooted trees on all fours
Carry logs while balancing on uprooted trees
Scramble up rock faces
Leap from rock to rock to cross river
Run from a snake

Hope this has inspired some people to get out there. Exercise is an opportunity.

Keep up the awesome work and Im looking forward to some more post.
