We await your messages on pins and needles.

He just emailed me back.  He says that he KNOWS they can do 1/2 inch buttons, and it'll take a couple of days to find out if they can do anything smaller.  He's not sure they have the collar for it.  He's checking and said it might take a couple of days for his people to get back to him.

Okay, so if we do the metal buttons on the trekkers, and we stick with the trekkers, the price would go up to $55, and we would sell replacement buttons in the store at $8.00 a piece.  Is that a price you guys are willing to incur?

The buttons will be 1/2 inch in diameter, and 2.5 mm thick.  I've sent a PM to our awesome contact to find out if this is a viable solution regarding diameter and thickness.

I'd order 1 Trekker and a few buttons for my own projects...

Fourth:  Something that was suggested by our contact a long time ago, but which I totally forgot until just now - we COULD laser-engrave the blade.

This would probably look very classy. :)  Definitely worth considering if you can't come up with an easy way to get the logo on the scales.

I want the stainless steel water bottle, Sis, and I'll be glad to prepay for it. I really like The Revolution is You logo.  :)

Well, thanks, Shadow! :)  The water bottles will in NO way be limited.  I'm ordering them on Tuesday and should get them in by the end of October.  I won't do a pre-order on them, because I want to just pay for them and be done with it, and I think they'll sell pretty well once they're in the store.

I thought the "The Revolution Is You" thing was perfect for a water bottle, which you generally take with you when you're being all revolutionary (like when you're gardening, or hiking).  It's almost motivational, right? ;)

PS - I'll make a post about each individual item as they make it into the store.

Yes it is. "The Revolution is You" is along the lines of the raised fist holding the trowel that we love, but isn't TSP's. It is a positive phrase of action.

Exactly how I interpreted it as well.  :)

Laser-engraving does look quite nice.

I have a custom knife that has an organizations logo laser engraved in the blade.

Hi Sis - can you tell me if TSP Gearshop ever got any of the subdued patches in?  I had forgotten about them until today and was thinking I still want some.  Didn't know if it ever got past idea stage especially with all that's been going on with the knives.  Thanks dear!
