Is it a sin to ask who does your patches?

We need some made for the SAR team.

BTW, what ever became of the subdued patches?  Did I miss that somewhere?

I wanted to see these patches first hand before I ordered the subdued.  I'm ordering subdued tomorrow.

Thank you for the order, Shadow!  I'm looking forward to my warm, fuzzy revolution sweater too.  I'm in the finances boat also.  :)

My water bottle arrived today too, SisWolf. What fast service! It's already washed and filled with water in the fridge to grab next time we head to town.  :D

Awesome!  We've been using our two for the last week or so.  I didn't really expect to love them (I don't generally like water bottles), but I really DO!  The mouth is just the right size, and it's thin without being sharp.  And they get cold FAST, and stay cold for a long time.  Love them!

I like the new patch alot especially with the velcro backing. the M3 bag VooDoo makes is a nice update from the older Nylon Fabric Vietnam era M3 bag. I bought a cpl Medkits from VooDoo last year and i really like the updated bag material and construction

i'll be ordering a bag and patches this week, would also make a great tool/car bag kit for your truck/underseat. Lotsa possibilities for this bag

Echo.

Dang, that is some hefty thick fabric.

Still not sure what I'm going to use it for -- maybe as a micro-BOB/GHB to toss in the car, or maybe as my second carry-on luggage for air travel.

Medical Bags are back in the store!  They sold out pretty quickly the first time, so if you didn't get a chance to pick one up then, pick one up now!

 :impatient:

Medical Bags are back in the store!  They sold out pretty quickly the first time, so if you didn't get a chance to pick one up then, pick one up now!

I didn't really understand the geometry of these bags until I had one in my hand.  Here's a little guided tour.

Lookie here:

This is the bag seen from the front when it's opened.  There are three zippered pouches.  See the frontmost pouch at the bottom of the picture?  Pouch #1 is about 9.5" wide by 4" high by 3" thick, with a hefty plastic zipper on top.

Right behind it is Pouch #2, which is the same size.

At the back is a taller zippered pouch.  Pouch #3 is about 10" wide by 8" high by 2.5" thick.

Between Pouch #2 and #3 is a pocket about 1" thick.  I think it's really intended as expansion space for when you've overstuffed the zippered pouches, but it's probably a good place for pens and such.

The two smaller pouches, #1 and #2, are connected at their tops by a strip of cloth the width of the pouch.  When it's time to close up the bag, you flip up Pouch #1 so that it's upside-down above Pouch #2.

That piece of cloth at the top of the picture is a sort of rain cap that holds everything together when the bag is closed.  It clips to the bottom of Pouch #2, and the result is like so:

On the back of the bag are a carrying handle, a couple of D-rings with a removable shoulder strap, and some horizontal and vertical straps that should attach to nearly any sort of belt or gear-carrying system imaginable.

The TSP patch is velcro-backed, and sticks to a square of felt on the front of the bag.

Hope this is helpful for the befuddled. ;D

Can I hire you to do reviews?  I'm so dang busy trying to procure stuff and do the magazine that I have no time to do the amazing thing that you just did.

(Actually, a short video would have been even better... but it would come out pretty amateurish if I tried it.)

I got my medic bag a couple of weeks ago and have been too busy to stop by and say that this thing is great! The medic bag is pretty sweet all on its own but then when you add the TSP medic patch it is a huge WOW. I would definitely recommend this.

Dumb question, do you have regular TSP patches that are velcroed like the TSP medical patches??

Why I ask? I'll be getting the medic bag soon, but I'm not an EMT, and I don't want to represent something I am not.

Medic is short for Medical.  It's not to represent that you're a medic.  It's to represent that the bag is for medical stuff.

I'm working on getting regular TSP patches that are velcroed in the back, but I just wanted to make that ^ clear.  :)
