How does one analize mining data?
« on: November 22, 2010, 08:47:46 PM »
I'm looking at a mining company who is doing test drilling. They have found so many grams per ton and certain technical grades are given. It sounds good, but doesn't mean much to me. Does anyone know of a "mining for dummies" web site which explains basic research? A saw a video where the CEO expected the cost of extraction once they were up an running to be around $600 per ounce. That sounds pretty good to me with gold and silver where it is today. They also had data on zinc. Of course any information a company is putting out sounds great, I would like to become semi-informed so as not to buy into a money pit.

I'd like to know the same. I'd like to do a little investing (experimental) but I'd love to increase my chances of seeing a profit later.
