Bow sights that are ground blind friendly
« on: January 07, 2011, 10:54:17 PM »
Been doing a lot of bow hunting from a ground blind this year and have found my equipment a little deffiecient.  I currently have a good set of Trophy Ridge fiber optic sights on my bow.  When I'm in a tree stand I have no problem with my pins lighting up.  However, when I'm in a blind and the sun starts going down light is an issue inside the blind.  I Can't differentiate between the different yardage pins becase the coating inside the blind blocks out so much light that all I can see is a single line of pins.  Then when you try to draw down on a deer through the opening the brighter back drop actually diminishes your ability even more.  Has anybody had this same problem? What sights might you recomend that have a light source attached to the sights to help aid in lighting the pins in these situations?  I'm not trying to extend my hunting beyond legal shooting hours  Just trying to make the blind hunting as advantagous as a tree stand.  Looking for some input.....thanks!
