TSP/ Hoodlum Caddo Lake trip
« on: March 29, 2011, 09:37:07 AM »
This was suppose to be a trip report, but I am lacking the energy.  It is amazing how you how you can be physically drained and revitalized at the same time.

Friday was my birthday and I had yet another great time out here and we may may this an annual event.

In attendance were

drthumbs and clan (TSP/Hoodlum)
texasmufflerman and his two small boys (TSP/Hoodlum)
eagle357 and his two not so small boys(/Hoodlum)
widgeon(Hoodlum)
Anthony- He is not a Hoodlum or on board with TSP yet but already one at heart and one of my best friends

After about 4 hours fishing with very little luck it was back on shore for something to eat.

The eagle clans dinner with a little extra to pass around.

eagle357s not so small boys

Kristy and Draven making a terrarium for a frog and Anthony and widgeon all around the fire ring.

Canoes at our islan landing.  Not a lot of space to get a canoe in

Toren hamming it up for the camera

one of the eagles canoes  “warthog”  I love the pain job on this thing.

Sunset

Packed up and leaving the island.  Kristy wanted to take the kids hiking around the island so I ferried the gear back to the car.

I hope to see pics from the others out there too.

Very nice.  Interesting to see camping photos from terrain so different from my own.  I'm in western WA.  I hope to get out with the family in the next couple months as the weather warms.
