No blinding flash of the obvious here.  It's just interesting that the co-CEO of one of the most reputable bond companies in the world used the phrase 'financial repression' publicly when referring to central policy-makers (to include the US). 

When inflation outpaces rates of return...

Very good info, and Jim is one of the best around in my opinion.  He interviews a lot of opposing viewpoints fairly and lets them make their points without a lot of argument from him.  And he's not a fear-monger.  A very good resource in my opinion.
