Ruger Mk1 Pistol

I have had this old Ruger pistol for over 40 years.  I lost the rear sight and called Ruger.  I explained that it was about 40 years out of warranty, that I carried it with me on the tractor while bushhogging (rough treatment,) and I hoped they still carried that part for such an old pistol.  They sent me a replacement, must have shipped that day because I got it quick!  No charge!  That's customer service!

It's been my experience that Ruger has some of the best customer service in the firearms industry.  Its become one of the last great firearms makers in America, and they have managed to avoid the conglomerations that seem to be scooping up all the others and running them into the ground.
