I was listening to one of Jacks early podcasts and he had mentioned that there would be a place on the forums for members to barter anything they like. He said that in order to be able to post to this forum you would have to have made 10 or more posts before on other topics.

Did anything ever come of this? I would much rather sell or trade my stuff with TSP members than on craigslist or ebay.

Hello Josiah, yes, there is a Swap Meets board. It does require a minimum post count (it is more than 10) but it shouldn't take long for it to be available to you if you participate regularly.

I think there was some additional talk about changing the rules so folks with x number messages could read the posts but it took x+y to post your own.


I will let the real system admin type folks respond if this indeed the rule.

You're close.  It takes x posts to read and reply in the Swap Meet board, but x+y posts before you can start your own topics.
