Wow. Wonder whats up down there. The Houston flooding maybe. Several refineries in the LaPorte area probably shut down.

Yep - expect a price hike in the short term; esp if you are in the Texas area. From what I understand on the news; a lot of the refineries were shut down (and still are) in the gulf area.

Get your gas now if you are in DFW area if you are running "short".

I did notice that the local gas prices in Colorado area did bounce up by 10-15 cents. I have one more vehicle to fill up today.

Price was 2.19ish at CostCo; local reports say the price in some locations in town have jumped to 2.37.

I keep 30-40 on hand, rotated. Filled every can except one just a couple wees ago.

You might have a bladder infection if you wee that much...but if your truck can run on it ,you might want to cut back on the moonshine a bit.

I understand nearly 30% of aviation fuel is produced in Southern Texas so this will have an adverse affect on commercial aviation until the refineries can once again start production.

If you're planning a trip, buy your tickets now before fuel surcharges are added.

Oldest is in Dallas, Texas. Got a text just now on gas situation there.
He didn't name a price, but said there were probably 20 stations between his work and home, and only 4 were open that had gas, and the streets were blocked from the gas lines waiting to get into the stations.

Got gas yesterday at $2.29 and this morning it was $2.43. I noticed several other stations in the area were still at $2.19. I beginning to think that Kum and Go might have a tad bit of price gouging going on

No hard evidence of gouging around Houston after the hurricane. Social media reports have been checked by the news reporters and found to be false. Local price $2.05, Houston varies, $2.49 is decent for them.

Missouri $2.39 starting this week. Was $2.03 last week.

Probably due to Harvey.

Oldest in Dallas still reports most stations there have no gas. If they do, it's 87 octane only and lines for blocks, blocking the streets.

Raleigh NC Area 2.69/gal. Up 40 cents in one week. We are right off the Colonial Pipeline.
