Bought these at a farm sale. One is actually a kerosene/diesel can (blue) but I use it anyways for gas.

Media pushing a gas panic? Haven't noticed here but I don't pay a lot of attention to most of what the media says.

It is a general panic buying of staples.  We had huge shopping traffic from Ilinois today because of their crazy "stay at home" order.  So a place with no infections is now being threatened by this incited panic.  People are buying up staples around country out of fear the stay-at-home orders will spread.  So we thought it best to stay a step ahead of the mobs rather than wait for gas price to hit rock bottom.

No milk, no bleach: Americans awake to coronavirus panic buying

In Union, New Jersey, a Target opened at 8 a.m. and had sold out of its full stock of milk and bottled water five minutes later. In Austin, Texas, some gas station pumps ran dry. Not a bottle of bleach could be found at a Home Depot in Fairfax, Virginia.

That is interesting.  The station we loaded up at last weekend at $1.24 is now $1.13.   Maybe local demand increased?

I had to go to town to the dentist yesterday. Had a filling fall out and was becoming a problem.
Anyway, decided to grab a few supplies and fill up.
Price was $2.18, the lowest it has been here.

Possibly I suppose. This area got the stay at home pronouncement a couple days ago.

$1.66 @ Kroger this morning. I wondered how long there would continue shooting themselves in the foot. Other places as much as $0.15 less cash price.

$1.07 to $1.09 today in Northern Kentucky.  Never thought we would again see less than $20 a barrel oil, or even less than $40!  Interesting to see ICE vehicles being once again cheaper to run than electric.
