All,

I need to warn you about this operation. I ordered something and they never shipped it. When I contacted them 3 months after I ordered (I forgot all about it), I was advised the item was discontinued and they would ship a replacement. I was lied to that the product would ship. After another month, I asked for a refund. I was lied to again that they would credit my paypal account and then lied to that a check was in the mail. After six months of the run around, I just wrote off the $99 as a learning experience.  I can back all this up with emails from them.

My advice would be not to do business with them.

Jim

After posting this, someone from this forum contacted Michael at ineed2prepare.com. My refund hit my paypal account early this morning.

It is strange what one post on TSP can do what dozens of emails cannot. ;-)

Glad you got your money back.

But for me, the damage is done.  I won't deal with that company.

"Someone" should step up and take a bow. You're the best.

I am the one that contacted the owner. I met him at a workshop he hosted about a month ago.

Guys keep in mind that there are 2 sides to every story. The manufacturer is the one that failed to ship the product not the company. The buyer delayed to contact the owner of ineed2prepare for an extended amount of time which started the confusion. This was followed by lots of miss-communication. I'm not saying there wasn't any fault on the owners behalf because there was.

Because the company is local to me I will be following closely.

Well, I was willing to not beat this dead horse and let it go since I finally did get a refund, but the above really does not encompass six months of phone calls, emails and polite requests for a refund followed by silence. I'll not recount the entire saga here because that horse is indeed dead.

I understand the owner has had a difficult summer and fall and was very patient. To me, whatever misunderstanding occurred, it could have been solved in seconds via a simple paypal refund and that would have been the end of it.

Agreed. Yesh 6 months yea that's way too long. I'm sorry I had the impression that it was a shorter time frame.

For the record, I received my refund and today received a bucket of 90 servings or one week supply @ 2000 calories per day (14,000 total calories). It was the Linden Farms brand:

I cannot say I am satisfied, but at least ineed2prepare made it right in the end.
