1632 and Other Free Baen Books

1632
http://www.baenebooks.com/p-379-1632.aspx

I consider this a must read book. It's fun (albeit a bit campy). But it basically deals with a group of modern society that are forced to gear-down their technology level (when they find themselves transported back in time to 1632).   Furthermore, this is nearly a history lesson in and of itself. No other book series has had me waste as much time on Wikipedia learning history.  ;-)

If I am not mistaken the first three of David Weber's "Honor Harrington" series are in the Baen free library.  Great series.
