The provider of those classes could be excellent, I don't know.

Some things to ask/think about further:
Many (but not all) techniques/treatment protocols developed by the military are based upon the expectation that medical evacuation and higher level treatment is readily available.  (helo inbound)

With that in mind, I suggest that preppers interested in developing their medical skills further consider taking a Wilderness First Aid/Responder and/or Wilderness EMT course.  Why?  Because they go into depth on field expedient uses of the things around you, common illnesses/injuries as well as catastrophic ones, things to consider when evacuation is not coming anytime soon, and how/when to evacuate a person to a higher level of care.
