This page on Facebook posts free ebooks available on Amazon. They do a pretty good job of posting free prepping related books. Gardening, food preservation, disaster preparedness, and the like. Last week, I was even able to pick up one of Dave Canteberry's books for free! They also post a lot of general fiction stuff too, so you'll have to sort through all that stuff.

I saw this thread a couple days ago, liked them, and have already gotten several good books off of it. Most of them are time sensitive, so check it often.

There are a bunch of free prepper books on Amazon today. This one, for instance, is on canning. Scroll through the "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" and you will see many other free titles. I downloaded about 20 of them so far.

Lots of blogs out there list free books every day.

I follow Pam's Pride Recomendations in Google Reader. She lists at least a dozen free books every day geared to the homesteader, survivalist, paleo eater, etc.

This works out much better for those of us that don't make use of Facebook

Hey, that's a very cool source! I was completely oblivious to the fact that you could find free ebook on amazon.

The Pam's Pride website looks useful as well, I can see a few titles right off the bat that are worth looking into.

Well, the free ebook may be dead. Amazon has new rules regarding free ebooks and how affiliates handle them. Interesting read.

Hard to find that's for sure. Pam's Pride has already cut out the free e-books. Which sucks. When it comes to these topics, I find it hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. I'd be pissed to pay $0.99 for something that doesn't tell me anything new.
