Is fuel corn safe for deer?

I'm looking for a cheap source of corn for my new deer feeder. I found the product below at my local TSC store:
http://www.tscstores.com/55LB-FUEL-CORN-P12751.aspx
My question: is this considered safe as deer feed? I read an article elsewhere that suggested corn not specifically produced as feed may carry disease even if washed by the manufacturer.
I don't want to endanger my local deer population...any opinions?

I would say it's ok. The $&@% deer around here won't stay out of my fields, they even went through and dug up the treated seed after planting for a snack. Trust me, whatever field that corn came from had deer eating it before harvest.

i would say its fine the only difference probably is that the fuel corn has a lower moisture content than the corn used for feed .so in the end you will get more corn per pound if its dryer. so i say feed away.
