Fieldline Tactical Bag
« on: September 17, 2012, 02:12:22 PM »
Ok,,about a week and a half ago I purchased a Fieldline Tactical bag from Walmart for 20 dollars. My first thought was Walmart +20 bucks=this must be junk. My 2nd thought was,,for 20 bucks can I afford to miss out if its good gear. I gave in a bought it (they also have a 40 dollar model but I try to learn lessons for the least investment I can) and so far so good. I have used it for only a week, but have been giving it hard use as often as I can. Just got back from a road trip to an expo, and its still looking good. No bare threads, and no signs of stress. Anyone else given these a go yet, and if so,,,hows it holding up?

ive been using the same bag now for about 2 months hard use(well about as hard use as i can muster) so far so good. im loving this pack. its small enough to not overload with a bunch of zombie junk but holds lots of gear. i love the way its so organized, lots of different zippered pouches and stuff points. its held up great so far. yes it is a little thin in material but the material is tougher than some other packs ive owned. as much as i hate buying cheap gear from department stores i have to admit this is becoming one of my favorite packs. and for 20 bucks. its a great deal.

I just took a peek online at walmart and don't seee a Fieldline Tactical.
I  did a search for fieldline and came up with many bags. 3 or so were in the $20 range.

Is it any of those 3?

Looking for a small/mid sized pack for a GHB or part of a car kit.
Thanks

I'm a pretty regular Wal Mart shopper. I'll have to check that out. Thanks!

I have been using mine for several months now, rather hard on it I might add, no fraying, no unusual wearing patterns, like the attachment points and side -stuffing point, with some of the add-on bags available this was a real value for $20, highly recommend this one. NCD

A few years later (the internet is crazy/weird like that)...how are these packs holding up?

I'm in the market for an all-around day pack. Looking around online, I like the design and price tag for the Fieldline Alpha Ops, but I haven't gotten a sense of its quality of materials and construction, or how well it lasts.

I also bought a Fieldline tactical pack from Walmart. Im very satisfied with it. I like the design, like the storage capacity. It is well made and has held up to  a year of heavy work so far with out any problems. This one was around 35 dollars, looks to be a medium sized pack, tan in color with  lotsa external loops for add on equipment. I would tell anyone to buy one who is looking for a medium sized back pack.
