Paleo Recipes for canning
« on: November 07, 2012, 06:15:05 PM »
What do you do that I might not have thought about?

I have soups I can (without pasta/rice) and chili. I also can chicken. I just canned meatloaf (no bread, crumbs or crackers added)for the first time. I have dehydrated veggies but have not actually canned any.

I have gone back and forth between paleo and not paleo. I have recently experienced some of the worst gastronomic/intestinal issues and given up grains and dairy again. I realize that I just cannot eat these things. I also have given up my beloved Belgian wheat beers for red wine. I like wine so it's not terrible but I do like beer.

I prefer to can meals-ready-to-eat so I am looking for suggestions.

Has anyone tried canning pulled pork?  If so please share your recipe.

I usually can some homemade vegetable beef soup with V8 stock. No gluten in it.

With deer season here a pint of cubed venison with a beef bullion cube added is wonderful.

I know this is terrible but Bud Light doesn't bother my gluten issues. I know - a sad evil twist of fate.

That is sad. On the up side I now drink a glass of red wine every night.  ;D
