Looking for unique Paracord projects.

Does anyone have unique, creative ideas for paracord projects? If you do I would like to try and make them.

I see a lot of the same things when I search for paracord projects. I like working with paracord, and I am planning on making a hammock when my spool gets in. I have this fold up camp chair that is falling apart because I left it in the sun and rain too long, I'm going to use the frame and remake the chair with paracord.
I'm always trying to think of new things to make. Like a bedskirt, which I may try if I decide to take up crocheting. I was also thinking of getting equal amounts of wool thread and paracord and swapping the inner strands for the wool for making a beanie or something.

i have done a number of different paracord projects including the usual bracelets, keychains, zipper pulls etc... i have also done paracord dog leashes and collars for my pups.  if you are looking for challenging and interesting projects check out stormdranes blog at http://stormdrane.blogspot.com/   tons of cool ideas there.   i have been toying with the idea of using paracord instead of yarn to crochet small nets or gear hangers.  just a thought.  good luck

That actually sounds pretty challenging, I am thinking of taking up crocheting after reading a post by Sister Wolf on another post.
I'll keep that one in mind.

That's a pretty awesome blog, I only scrolled to the bottom this time but found something I like in the process. I'm mostly looking for long projects that will require an abundance of cord.
There was a small bedframe by the dumpster at my apartments this morning I wanted to grab, but was gone by the time I got home from work. I was going to make a hammock/couch out of it, I think I'm going to search craigslist for a free one and just use that.

I'd love to see plans or a photo of that! I can't count how many camp chairs we have tossed into campfires when they rip and go bad. Since they are so cheap (I don't think I've ever paid more than $5 for one) nobody cares, but I would assume a paracord chair would last forever compared to the fabric they use. I have 2 chairs I left in my yard all summer because they are about 10 years old and about to die and I just didn't care anymore — but they are still kicking. I may actually bring them inside for the winter but I have 2 frames to work with once they finally rip!

I will post some before, during and after pics. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for my paracord. I paid like $17.95 (pre-tax) at wal-mart because it has two cup holders. I want to keep the arm rests if possible and then recreate the existing stair style, I may also tie where it would normally bend to fold and make it stuck in the open position.

I like that canteen, I travel on foot or skateboard primarily and usually have a backpack. That seems like it would go good tied between the straps with a drinking tube. I normally carry a Vapur .7L  bottle, I want to get a 1L Platypus with the bite valve top.

Just got my spool in today! I haven't used any yet, but it already appears to be a higher quality than the spool I got from cheaperthandirt.
I will more than likely add in pictures once I get them off my phone.

Paracord bullwhip. Done properly takes a massive amount of time and cord.

Dog collars and leashes. Turks head wrap for walking stick.

Look for macrame projects - big in the 70's - hanging plant holders, wall hangings, jewlery, etc.

I did a little test thing I will post later. I think tomorrow I'm going to do some before and after remaking my belt with the new cord. I'm pretty excited about it.

I plan on attempting a few slings for various rifles any one know of any patterns i found one on instructables or whatever that site is.  Dont want to buy ebay 30$ ones.  If my first turns out good i might make some more.  I made a cool bracelet about a year ago single strand about 14 feet unwound plan on making some more of various colors thanks youtube for easy to follow vids

Also best use I founand sometd that saved my but was when I forgot my tent poles one year and 100 feet and some trees did the trick.  Single 100 foot piece sos not to waste

I would probably go with a double wide cobra, little easier than weaving.

I made a single point sling for my paintball marker the other night.  Just used cobra knot.  Used split rings to attach to the marker, but depending on wear I may just use a loop of paracord.
