She's a keeper.  So are the guns.

You might be interested in the ten-book prepper novel series called 299 Days.  I, like, wrote it and stuff.  Prepper Press is publishing it.  Seriously.  Check out www.299Days.com.

Finally got my new AR build up and running and boy does it kick some ass! One of the flattest shooting AR's I've ever shot.

Noveske full upper, POF lower, magpul furniture and all the internals finely tuned by my smith. Going to swap out the triji soon for an aimpoint T1 micro.

(i'll get some better pics soon)

Maybe its the angle but it looks like your brake isn't timed correctly.

Got this in for testing and review:  :happydance:

Forgotten Weapons  - Your source for rare, exotic, and prototype firearms.

Bad times came and bad times went, and left us here alive
Desert folks have histories of learning to survive.
The troubles took the cities, and the rich farmlands beside
But they skipped our land as barren waste, so here we all abide.

Looks like a FG42, but what is it really?
"In the end, more than freedom, they wanted security.
They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all - security,
comfort, and freedom. When the Athenians finally wanted not to give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished for most was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free and was never free again."

It's a reproduction FG42.

I looked them up.  Dang, those are pricey repros.  Could get an honest-to-God Dragunuv for less than that :-)

Still, I think a battle rifle chambered in 7.62 x 54R is pretty "bad ass"  8)

Yeah, they cost some money...but check out what the original ones bring at auction.  :o

Given the choice, I would take the repro FG42 over a Dragunov without really needing to think about it. I have a Yugo M76 that I like more than a Dragunov, and for a fraction the cost.

There's always slack here.  No worries.

I don't think you can upload directly to the site.  You have to store them on a web image hosting place )photbucket, flickr) and link them here.

These are old, dating back to the days before facebook, but they are already on my photobucket.

This is my CZ 550 Safari Magnum 375 H&H mag

My AR, everything is Bushmaster except the upper receiver, which is Rock River. 14.5" barrel with AK-74 type muzzlebrake. Since this pic was taken there have been some changes. It now wears a quad rail forend, an eotech 512, eotech g33 3x magnifier on flip to side mount, blackhawk pistol grip and foregrip, and M.A.M.B.A. single point sling.

I will have to take some updated pics and post them.
