Link back from TSP forum to 13Skills

Hi guys,

Not sure if you can modify the forum software to support this, but it would be great to be able to put your 13Skills username in your forum profile to create a link back (like it does with ICQ and MSN names, etc).

Just a thought.

You can put a link to your 13 in 13 profile in your signature line here in the TSPF until there is a universal option if one can be later implemented.

This is probably the best and simplest way to handle it.

It's bizarre that the SMF forum software has slots for ICQ, AIM, MSN, and YIM, but nothing modern like Facebook or Twitter.  I think I remember seeing an option for adding custom fields to the user profile, and maybe we'll give this a try after we finish our forthcoming terrifying software update.

The other thing is it may be possible to hijack one of those existing database fields (if it's not in widespread use) and just rebrand it as "13 Skills username" (with whatever changes to put the right prefix on the URL when its rendered).
