"In the end, more than freedom, they wanted security.
They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all - security,
comfort, and freedom. When the Athenians finally wanted not to give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished for most was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free and was never free again."

I assume nobody here is suprised by this.  Several in the current administration have openly declared their intent to do this for many years.  This time, they want to make the ban more far-reaching (such as Mini 14s and Ruger 10/22s would be included) and they want the ban to be permanent.

In addition to listening to Jack's podcast, I also enjoy listening to the NRA podcasts "Cam and Company" and also "Daily News".  They discuss politics and 2nd ammendment issues, and also quick news interviews with guests (veterans, police, olympic athetes, non-profit organizations supporting our soldiers and manufacturers, etc)

Just thought readers would like another good source of this information.
